The Information and Records Management Society (IRMS) cordially invites all Records, Information and Archive practitioners interested in those issues affecting the profession in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland to a meeting of the IRMS Ireland regional group at the offices of the Irish Architectural Archive in 45 Merrion Square, Dublin (for directions please click on the following link), on Thursday 17 November 2016.
Leading professionals from a variety of sectors will share their experience and knowledge and offer practical solutions based on best practice. Topics covered will include Freedom of Information, the new GDPR, applying retention to documents on shared drives, a new ROI government digital records management system, information governance as well as a workshop on innovative ways to promote information governance within your organisation.
The Information and Records Management Society (IRMS) is the foremost professional association for all those who work in or are concerned with records or information management, regardless of their professional or organisational status or qualifications in Ireland and the UK.
