6 November 2009 - Public Sector Group
The first meeting of the Public Sector Group (formerly the Local Government Group) took place on Friday November 6th 2009 at the Westminster Archives Centre. The day was sponsored by Open Text.

This was followed by a presentation by Open Text on ''Sharepoint, Records Management and Web 2.0 for the UK Public Sector. A copy of the presentation can be found on this page.
The was followed by a presentation by Richard Jeffrey Cook of Inform Consult entitled ''Sharepoint Basics for Records Managers''. A copy of the presentation can be found on this page.
This was followed by a discussion about the LGCRS. The final presentation of the day was given by Martyn Cattremole (EDRMS PM/Business Architect) presented a view of Sharepoint as a solution using two public authorities as examples. The presentation may become available on this page.
