Theme: Selling Records Management

This event will cover ground similar to the event held in September but from a slightly different angle including linking records management into an organization’s corporate drivers and selling records management to the user. The afternoon sessions will look at the Re-Use of Public Sector Information and possibly an update on the progress of the Goddard Enquiry from the IRMS working group.

Friday 2nd December 2016

Theme: The Records Manager’s Christmas List

This event is intended to take a seasonal look at the tools the Records Manager might want to have in their toolkit, packaging it as their Christmas present list. This will follow a similar pattern to the afternoon session held in the 2015 programme but with a more in depth look at different topics. Currently, the plan is to cover an overall view of records management (it has been suggested that we ask Julie McLeod to be the keynote), followed by email management, managing records in the Cloud, retention schedules and managing records in the SharePoint environment
