The next meeting of the South West IRMS Group (SWIRMS) will be held at the Research Councils in Swindon on Friday 13th March (unlucky for some but hopefully not for our SWIRMlets) from 9:30 (registration), with a 10am start and 3pm finish.
We are happy to be able to announce and welcome our two speakers for the morning, Richard Jeffrey-Cook from In-Form Consult, who will be focussing around gaining user adoption for an EDRMS, and Patricia Stabbins from the National Trust, who will be talking about some case studies on implementing an EDRMS. After a buffet lunch, Carl and Melody will be looking for interactive involvement from attendees through facilitating a workshop; this will focus on developing basic user guides for the practical application of information and records management in the workplace, with the aim of developing templates post meeting to share amongst the group for all members to use.
Being so close to Easter, we could not let this meeting go by without an appropriate eggstra theme, so we are calling it ‘The SWIRMS Eggstravaganza’. There is no charge to attend this meeting, and preferential booking will be given to IRMS members up to 2 weeks before the event, at which time any spare places will be opened to the wider IRM community.
Carl and Melody look forward to seeing you at their Easter event.
The Society offers four types of membership, from Corporate through to Student.
