Communications and Content Officers appointed
The IRMS has appointed two new Officers to its Executive Team.
Our new Communications Officer is Jessica Robson.
Jessica is an Information Governance Manager with over 10 years’ experience in both the NHS and the private sector, and will soon complete a Masters in Information Rights.
Jessica will coordinate all of the Society's comms activities - including via the website, social media and the Bulletin - and support Marketing Director Joe Chapman in various activities designed to boost the Society's profile.
Meanwhile, Paul Finnis has taken on the role of Information Officer.
Paul is a qualified records manager with extensive experience in the financial services industry, including in relation to risk management and business process mapping.
Paul's new role incorporates web content management in collaboration with eDirector Neil Reeves as well as the data quality remit previously held by Lawrence Rodgers.
After months of hard work improving our membership data in conjunction with the move to the new website, Lawrence has unfortunately had to step down due to work commitments - we wish him well and thank him for his important contribution.
Communications and Content are two of the five streams in our strategic plan for 2017-18, and incorporate much of what the Society is doing for the benefit of its members. As such, both new recruits will play an integral part in the Executive Team's work over the coming months, and we're delighted to welcome them on board.
