Announcing the Appointments of Constitutional Officers to the Executive Committee

Following the Annual General Meeting of the IRMS we are delighted to announce the new Constitutional Officers of the Executive of the Information and Records Management Society;

Chair; Nicholas Cooper

Vice Chair; Shona Dunning

Secretary; Leanne Bridges

Meic Pierce-Owen will retain the position of Treasurer.

We also see Matthew Stephenson remain on the Exec in a Director position as the previous past chair and David Bridge will remain as a co-opted Director.

on behalf of the Society, we extend a huge thank you to Matthew and David for their considerable contribution to our Community.

The Records Management Journal will be Emerald’s ‘Journal of the Week’ from 25thFebruary 2013 which means it will be free to access. Access is via the journal’s home page: www.emeraldinsight.com/rmj.htm  or Emerald’s homepage:www.emeraldinsight.com 

The journal contains some excellent articles including opinion pieces, conceptual pieces, case studies and research from authors around the world working in different sectors. They contain lots of insights, experiences and lessons learned that readers may find valuable in their own contexts. FREE access to this resource is a great opportunity to tap into the journal’s content if you haven’t before.  After reviewing some of the content available here, you may want to consider a subscription in the future.
