Conference 2018 - Back to the Future: From Best Practice to Innovation
Share |

20th-22nd May 2018, The Hilton Metropole, Brighton

PROGRAMME OVERVIEW
Back to the Future: From Best Practice to Innovation

The central theme for the 2018 IRMS Conference is to reflect back on Information & Records Management as an industry and recognise how far it has come from providing best practice advise to organisations to leading innovation within them. With the impending arrival of GDPR all organisations are looking to their Information Management Teams for guidance, advice and clear direction on how to become compliant and stay that way.

We would love our members and non-members to start discussing the conference in the lead up to it, so we have created a forum. Please do contribute to it and tell us what you would like to see from this year's conference, what discussions you are looking forward to having or what you are expecting from the whole experience (especially if this is your first conference). As this forum is open to the public please share within your organisations as we would love to know the type or questions that non-irm workers are asking.

Over three informative and packed days, we will address:

1) Privacy and GDPR

2) Soft Skills

3) Technical Innovation

4) Leveraging Information Value

5) Deployment of Solutions

Through an information-packed programme of keynotes, workshops, case studies and interactive discussions, all delegates have emerged from the IRMS Conference with valuable new allies and a comprehensive briefing on the challenges ahead.

Conference Topics included:

  • GDPR
  • Office 365
  • Automation
  • The Future of IRM
  • Sharepoint
  • Change Management
  • Cyber Security
  • Sustainability
