Volunteer with the IRMS!

All of the services we provide are only possible thanks to the members who give up their time to volunteer for the IRMS. Why not consider helping to improve the support and guidance we provide to the community by joining us as a volunteer?

Exec Vacancies

Finance Officer

The IRMS is looking to appoint a volunteer Finance Officer as part of the Executive. This role is key for supporting the Treasurer with the financial management of the Society and is a good opportunity for someone looking to gain financial experience and skills for their current or future role. There may also be an opportunity to be mentored by the current Treasurer, with a view to take on a Treasurer role of their own.

Group Vacancies

Would you like to get involved in leading one of our geographic or special interest groups?

The groups play a key role in engaging with IRMS members including through organising webinars and in-person events (in which you would receive full support from fellow team members).

Being a group chair is an ideal way to try out volunteering with the IRMS, with the option to take advantage of other volunteering opportunities that arise.

We are looking for new chairs for the following groups:

Volunteer for the Skills Matrix Working Group

The Working Group has been established to maintain the recently developed and deployed Skills Matrix. To find out more information about what the Group is looking for and how you might be able to help, head to the Skills Matrix Working Group page on the IRMS website.

Volunteer for the Accreditation & Fellowship Sub-Committee

The Accreditation Sub-Committee is looking for another volunteer to join its team of 7 other volunteers. Working with the wider team you’ll input into the development of Accreditation & Fellowship for the Society.
