Carys Hardy
Jaana Pinnick
Jaana is Information and Records Management Society Fellow and accredited professional who has had different roles in the UK public sector for over two decades. Before that Jaana worked in education (teaching French, German, and EFL) and private sector (business development and marketing). Her qualifications include MSc in Information and Records Management (Northumbria), PG Dip in Digital Preservation (Aberystwyth), and BA in German and French (Tampere, Finland). She is also a DAMA International Certified Data Management Professional Practitioner.
Jaana’s professional interests currently include data governance, professional leadership and networking, and environmental sustainability.
Jenny Moran
I trained as an archivist and was manager of the Record Office for Leicestershire, Leicester and Rutland for many years - the service that saved the famous Thomas Cook archive. I'm passionate about human rights and did a law degree on information rights law in order to better support people in understanding their past as well as holding organisations to account. I was records manager at De Montfort University and currently work in the Legal and Information Governance team at Sheffield City Council.
In my spare time I enjoy cocktails, baking, speed skating and all things sci-fi as well as my volunteer role for the IRMS of course!
Jonathan Nott
Information Governance Expert
Kamil Safai
Kamil supports the IRMS Executive Team in driving the Society’s digital strategy and enhancing member engagement through technology. As Digital and Data Officer, Kamil manages and optimises the IRMS website and associated digital platforms, including YourMembership and Microsoft 365, ensuring seamless integration and accessibility across systems. With a strong focus on process improvement, data governance, and automation, Kamil contributes to modernising IRMS’s digital infrastructure, supporting content delivery, and developing innovative approaches to data-driven decision-making. His collaborative work with the Digital Director, Head Chair, and Vice-Chair reflects his commitment to operational excellence and advancing the Society’s digital transformation goals.
Reynold Leming
Managing Director of Informu Solutions
Reynold (Ren) is Managing Director of Informu Solutions and a longstanding information governance professional who has worked in the document and records management sector for the past 30 years. He has experience of projects across the private, public and voluntary sectors, covering both digital and physical records management. This includes work on strategies, policies and procedures, training and communications, and system specifications. Over the last 18 months he has focussed his work on the important interface between data management and ESG. He is the Vice Chair of External Engagement for the Information and Records Management Society, working particularly on partnerships and advocacy

Paulina Jedwabska
Data, Information Governance and Knowledge Management Specialist
Paulina Jedwabska is a Data, Information Governance and Knowledge Management specialist with a proven track record of providing strategic direction and assisting leadership teams across multiple levels within complex organisations in the UK and internationally recognised bodies. Her wide-ranging experience spans construction, global sporting events, culture and heritage, central government, research and philanthropic organisations, through to magic circle law firms.
Rebekah Taylor
Archivist and Records Manager
Rebekah Taylor has been a qualified Archivist and Records Manager since 2011, with experience within a university and arms length bodies settings. She has been volunteering with the IRMS since 2023, and work has included volunteering as the Finance Officer, and assisting with the M365 Information Governance Model.
Rob Bath
Founder at Orinoco 365
Having overseen some of the most significant records management solutions in Microsoft 365, Rob has become a well-known Information Governance expert who regularly provides his thoughts to the wider community. Currently serving as the IRMS’ Digital Director, Rob has recently launched Orinoco 365 a product that makes it much easier to consistently apply Microsoft’s retention capabilities to your content in Microsoft 365.
Roger Poole
Records and Data Management and Information Governance Professional
A (semi retired) highly experienced Records and Data Management and Information Governance professional and Programme Manager with proven ability to lead, direct and drive forward strategic and complex change initiatives within the Financial Services and Large Corporates sectors.
Scott Sammons
DP and IG Consultant
Scott is an experienced freelance DP & IG consultant having now worked and volunteered for 17+ years in the profession across various sectors. As well as supporting organisations with IG & DP knowledge, Scott is also an author and trainer for various public training courses and a teacher for the DP&IG Level 4 apprenticeship programme across England. Scott has also volunteered at the IRMS since 2012 and was Chair from 2016-2020.
Sian Astill
Sian is a records manager and former archivist, working in the higher education sector. She has volunteered with the IRMS as Digital and Data Officer since 2024, supporting the Society's own IT and information management.
Simon Ellis
Commercial Director IRMS
As Commercial Director of the IRMS, Simon plays a pivotal role in supporting membership activity and driving the growth of the organisation.
With a robust background in records management, Simon brings proven leadership, initiative, and achievement to the role, drawing on experience in managing transitions and establishing independent ventures with leading organisations.

Suzy Taylor
Data Protection Officer and Academic Registrar
Suzy is a Data Protection Officer and Academic Registrar with over 25 years experience in Information Governance & Compliance, Records Management, Project Management and IT. She has worked for New College Durham since 2005 and consequently has a lot of accumulated knowledge about the Higher and Further Education Sector. She’s definitely a champion for initiatives across Education and is especially interested in applying the new JISC BCS and supporting the lawful and ethical uses of AI across her organisation. In additional to her Information Governance roles she’s a Prince 2 Practitioner and AgilePM with experience managing IT projects including EDRMS, bespoke database systems and integration between systems.
