Formed in late 2005 to create a networking opportunity for records management professionals to share knowledge and experience and promote the function of records management, our IRMS Ireland Group has gone from strength to strength. Over the years, events have been held in Belfast, Dublin, Cork, Galway and Limerick. Our events have attracted a wide range of attendees from both the public and private sector and have covered a variety of themes relating to information management.
Joint sessions with the Archives and Records Association of Ireland have proved extremely popular over the years, contributing to further sharing of experiences and a deeper understanding of each other’s functions.

Our intention is to continue to develop the group and address present and ongoing challenges. We are always on the lookout for new members and indeed sponsors.
