There are four main components (specification, metadata model, testing framework, and xml schema), plus a change log.

The specification and metadata model are available in a variety of formats.  All components are the current versions, in English.  For translations in other languages, please refer to the MoReq2010 website.

Leaflets that introduce MoReq2 are available in 22 languages.

MoReq2 xml Schema

The MoReq2 xml schema.  Consists of text and .xsd files.

This is version 1.04.01, the version issued in September 2008.

Most users of MoReq2 will not need this.  You only need this if you are involved in software development.

MoReq2 Test Framework

The MoReq2 Testing Framework.  All the documentation you need to test an electronic records management system for MoReq2 compliance: test data, test conditions, expected results.  The documentation consists of PDF documents.

This is version 1.0, the version issued in April 2008.

Most users of MoReq2 will not need this. You only need this if you are involved in compliance testing.

MoReq2 Metadata Model (Microsoft Word 1997-2003 format)

The MoReq2 metadata model (also known as Appendix 9), in an editable format (Microsoft Word 1997-2003).

This is version 1.04, the version issued in September 2008.

Most users of MoReq2 will not need this. You only need this if you are involved with the technical details of interfaces.  Use this version if you cannot use Microsoft Word 2007 format.

This is version 1.04, the version issued in September 2008.

Use this version if you want to read MoReq2 in paper form.  A printed and bound copy can be ordered from the EU Bookshop (choose a language then search for “MoReq2”).
