Tools & technologies for managing long-term SharePoint content 

Our joint 4‑part education series continues, with session 3 exploring how to automate and optimize long-term content management, covering:

Below is a selection of upcoming online conferences and masterclasses that may be of interest: 

Wednesday 11 February 2026 – Responding to Subject Access Requests for Health & Social Care 

A practical masterclass providing clarity on legal duties, processes, and best‑practice approaches for handling complex SARs in health and social care settings. 

Tuesday 14 April 2026 – Caldicott Guardian Training Course 

A skills‑focused session designed for new and aspiring Caldicott Guardians, covering core principles, responsibilities, and effective ethical decision‑making. 

Tuesday 12 May 2026 – Information Sharing in Adult Safeguarding 

This conference focuses on effective information sharing in adult safeguarding, with case studies covering the application of Caldicott Principles, Domestic Violence, working with Police, information sharing in emergencies, and safeguarding vulnerable adults in Mental Health services. 

With the 2025 ten‑year health plan placing greater emphasis on secure, patient‑controlled access to records, the event also examines how improved information access can help mitigate safeguarding risks. 

Friday 22 May 2026 – The Caldicott Guardian National Annual Conference 

A hybrid event bringing together Caldicott Guardians from health, social care, and related sectors. This year’s programme focuses on strengthening decision‑making, ethical leadership, real case studies, and implementing new guidance on information sharing with the police. 

Sessions also include legal updates on AI, information sharing after death, and changes in safeguarding legislation, alongside insights from NHS, smaller organisations, and the independent sector.

Government Confirms Original Wills Will Be Retained After Public Consultation

In December 2023, the Ministry of Justice (MoJ) launched a consultation on the storage and retention of original will documents, proposing that wills dating back to 1858 could be digitised, with paper copies destroyed except for those belonging to notable historical figures.
