IRMS16: Information Superheroes
15-17 May 2016, Brighton Hilton Metropole
In 2016 Conference returned to its traditional home in Brighton. 2016 not only had a great programme of speakers and content but we also had an amazing array of supplier innovation on display that year. We also, for the first time had a Conference Fringe – which happened on the Sunday afternoon – and an e-fringe which offered live discussion on conference themes as Conference developed.
Moreover, on top of this we had a completely new-look Oscar-style Awards Evening as part of Monday’s glittering Gala Dinner – and an after-dinner speaker the announcement of whom sent membership into meltdown as it was the one and only Brian Blessed! But the core of the Event was the new ideas and great case studies we heard – both in session and informally – and the friends old and new that people to met over those three days.
