The theme for the IRMS Conference 2023 was Embracing a New Information Generation.
In the year that the IRMS marked its 40th birthday and inspired by our host city and its famous symbol, IRMS23 celebrated the innovation, industry and ingenuity of the information profession, and the emergence of a “new generation” not only of people but of technology, regulations, ways of working and more that all play a key role in the world of information management.

Programme overview
Our busy programme was headlined by a set of thought-provoking keynotes from leading speakers across the public and private sectors. It also featured a variety of presentations, case studies, discussions and workshops from practitioners, as well as the latest insights from vendors of products and services in various aspects of information and records management.
The 2023 programme was as diverse as ever, featuring a host of new and familiar names from a wide range of roles across public, private and third-sector organisations, covering all aspects of information and records management including hot topics like:

- Data management / data governance
- Artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning

but with an emphasis on new faces, new formats and new ideas.
