The last few years have seen an increase in the number of people working remotely. This increase has been coupled with organisations utilising a greater number of surveillance and monitoring tools and techniques to track staff productivity, leading to
an erosion of trust between employer and employee. This session will look at:
- The benefits of a healthy employer-employee relationship
- Strategies for organisations to demonstrate trustworthiness
- A discussion of how we – as data protection/information governance practitioners – can help to (re)build trust between the organisation and its employees.
Join Dr Inga Kroener, Data Protection Consultant and Emily Overton, IRMS Information Rights Group Chair for an hour of geekery.
Proposed Learning Outcomes
- An understanding of the importance of organisational trustworthiness
- An understanding of strategies for building organisational trustworthiness
- An understanding of some practical steps for data protection practitioners in (re)building trust
Knowledge Level: Intermediate/Advanced
