Alan will consider two issues relating to digital transformation. Firstly, what are the issues relating to the digitisation of physical (e.g. paper) documents. The benefits and challenges typically encountered by this process will be discussed, along with the legal position with regards to electronic copies of paper-based documents. Secondly, issues that are of concern when devising digital archiving policies and processes will also be discussed.
