The first meeting of the Records Management and Local Government Reorganisation focus group will be taking place on Wednesday 1^st October 13:00-14:00. I hope that this will be the first of regular meetings where we can explore the implications and the impacts of LGR on records management and support one another as a professional body to find solutions to issues as they arise.

Elizabeth Barber will give a short presentation at the start of the session. This will be followed by an open discussion. Delegates will be able to ask and answer questions as we will enable microphones for this meeting.

In order to make the size of this event manageable attendance at this event is limited to those who work in local authorities (County Councils, Unitary Councils, District and Borough Councils).
