Welcome to the IRMS Accreditation SubcommitteeThe purpose of the IRMS Accreditation Subcommittee is to help with the development and oversight of the below areas on behalf of the IRMS Executive Committee. It is made up of senior members of the Society and wider profession who themselves have been accredited. The Subcommittee meets around 4 times a year to agree a work plan for the year through development projects, operational and quality reviews and strategic partnerships. The Subcommittee is responsible for the running and development of the following areas: The Subcommittee is currently made up of the following volunteers;
You can find a copy of our Terms of Reference here, and read our annual reports in the Society's annual reports found on the Governance page. Accreditation Assessors: We also have a network of Accreditation Assessors. These volunteers aren't necessarily part of the subcommittee, but they help us run accreditation interviews across the UK. They have been through the process themselves and have been trained to conduct the interviews and assessments. Our assessors follow a Code of Conduct to ensure our processes are fair, transparent and accountable. You can find more information on the role of an assessor via the role profile. After you have been accredited, if you would like to train to become an accreditation assessor then please let us know. We are always looking for more assessors from various sectors and backgrounds so feel free to get in touch to find out more. If you have any queries or would like to get involved with the Subcommittee, please email accreditation@irms.org.uk or contact any members of the committee via SocialLink. |
