As a Society we offer a number of ways for members to connect and network with each other. One of the best ways for members to network is via our member groups. These groups are run by our Group Chairs and meet throughout the year either online or face-to-face. Regional Groups: We offer a range of regional networking groups that cover the main areas of the United Kingdom and Ireland Ireland (covering Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland) London & Central (covering London and the Home Counties) Midlands (covering places from Wolverhampton to Peterborough) North (covering places from Liverpool to Newcastle) Scotland  South West (covering places from Penzanze to Southampton) Wales-Cymru

Special Interest & Sector Specific Groups:

We also offer a range of groups that cover specific topics that cover the UK & Ireland. These meet both online and in person and focus on specific areas.

Digital Preservation focusing on all things related to digital preservation. 

IM Tech focusing on all things relating to the management of IM tech solutions like Microsoft 365.

Information Rights focusing on all topics ranging from GDPR through to intellectual property.

Sector Specific:

Finance & Insurance focusing on topics facing the Finance & similar regulated industries. 

Higher & Further Education focusing on topics facing the Higher and Further Education industries. 

Legal Services focusing on topics facing the legal services industry in the UK and now including across Europe.

Property Management focusing on topics facing all industries around property management. 

Public Sector focusing on topics facing the public sector (local and central) and all public authorities across the UK & Ireland.

Schools focusing on topics facing all schools across UK & Ireland.
