|
The Islands Data Governance Forum is a not-for-profit organisation operating across Gibraltar, Guernsey, Isle of Man, Jersey, Falkland Islands and Bermuda. Membership of the Forum is free for individuals. The aim of the Forum is to bring together people who are passionate about Data Governance / Data Security through a forum where people can come together and network, learn and share experiences. The IRMS and the Forum have a joint working arrangement where we arrange joint events and promote membership of the IRMS as a professional trade body supporting information professionals. The IRMS Islands Group has been disbanded and instead all events are now run through the Forum. However, members that are from the islands can still network and get access to dedicated resources through the Forum group area on the IRMS website. Why join the IRMS in addition to the Forum? The IRMS is a professional association for information professionals, with over 1200 members in around 30 countries and territories worldwide, across the public, private and voluntary sectors. Our mission is to provide leadership in records and information management by supporting and promoting activity within the profession and being active in advocacy and collaboration. As a Professional Membership body we are dedicated to supporting you as an information professional and helping you make the most of your career in our wonderful profession. The IRMS is renowned for its inclusivity, which flows through everything we do. Membership of the Society offers a wide range of benefits that alter depending on your membership.
