About the speaker

Susan Lamb is a lawyer and IAPP Certified AI Governance Professional  with 20+ years' industry experience. As Shell’s first Group records manager, she was accountable for defining the policy, governance, processes, tools and overseeing the planning, design and operationalisation for Shell’s Global records management compliance programme across 80 countries and 120,000 staff. She led the multi-million-dollar Group Information Lifecycle Management programme which involved the successful deployment of Microsoft Purview and was part of the multidisciplinary team established to implement AI Governance for the Shell Group. She now the Principal Data Governance SME  with Infotechtion and advises businesses on AI and data governance initiatives that safeguard company reputation and ensure businesses are AI ready.
