A fascinating day of learning with our guests from Down Under!
Back in May, the IRMS co-hosted a workshop in Glasgow led by representatives from Monash University in Australia, exploring their groundbreaking work on the continuum model and recordkeeping informatics.
The event, staged in partnership with the Digital Preservation Coalition, National Records of Scotland and Scottish Council on Archives, was a rare opportunity for UK-based records management professionals to hear directly from renowned academics Gillian Oliver, Barbara Reed and Frank Upward.
Now, we're delighted to share the outputs from the event with IRMS members! Click here to download the slides - these contain links to the videos which are privately hosted on YouTube.
With no similar events on the horizon in the UK, these are likely to be highly valuable resources for students and practitioners alike for many years to come and are another addition to our membership benefits.
Thanks to Sarah Middleton of the DPC for producing the videos.
With a bi-monthly magazine, annual conference, accreditation possibilities and a competitively priced annual membership, there really is no reason why you shouldn't join this fantastic society!
