Welcome Protecture Subscribers!

We are pleased to announce new membership offer for Protecture Subscribers!

We recently launched the revised Third Sector Toolkit as well as the Third Sector Group in response to a growing awareness of Information & Records Management amongst charities and a need for support. 

The importance of good records management and information governance is ever more important in charities because of the work that they do and the high level of trust and respect they have in Society. However, as many lack the resources or experience to get IG right we, as other do, felt that extra support was needed.

We have therefore been working with Protecture Ltd to agree a membership partnership for the Subscribers of their Data Protection services. Protecture Subscribers are now eligible for affiliate membership of the IRMS as part of their Protecture subscription.

For those of you unaware of Protecture they are a Data Protection support firm supporting mainly charities and not for profit organisations with their Data Protection and Information Governance obligations. Protecture staff have spoken at a number of our events (Gary Shipsey and Rowenna Fielding as just two good examples) and have earned the respect of the community with their high quality advice and support. 

The IRMS and I are pleased to launch this membership offer and welcome Protecture into our ever growing family of partners we work with to grow and enhance the information and records management profession.
