The wait is over and we can now reveal who will open this year's IRMS Conference in Birmingham!
Christian Toon, Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at international law firm Pinsent Masons, will be on stage in his home city of Birmingham. Setting the scene for #IRMS20, Christian will outline the threats, risks and opportunities all organisations face in the bold new digital world and how information professionals can help businesses meet them head on.
He says: "You know it, I know it, the person next to you knows it. Sadly there are still many out there that don’t. Information, Data and Records Management - and the well established skills and expertise of record keepers - hold the key to ensuring organisations can survive and thrive in the 2020s."
Christian joins the likes of Calum Liddle (Facebook) and Ivana Bartoletti (Deloitte) in heading up a packed programme of activities over three knowledge-filled days at the Birmingham Hilton Metropole hotel next to the NEC.
