NickPoole is Chief Executive of CILIP. He is currently Chair of Wikimedia UK, the UK chapter of the global Wikipedia movement, and Chair of the Executive Board of BIC, the book industry supply-chain organisation. His previous roles have included leading an international standards organisation based at the Natural History Museum and 7 years as the UK representative on culture and technology to the European Commission. Prior to this,Nickworked in corporate finance and Government.
