Our Professional Standards Director attended the Plenary Meetings relating to ISO/TC171/SC1 (remotely) on 3rd May and provides the following update:
Working Group 9 -
Review relating to ISO/TR15801 - this Document Management - Electronically Stored Information - Recommendations for Trustworthiness and Reliability - Agreed this should be reviewed and published as a Standard. Approval of ISO to be sought.
Alan Shipman to be Project Editor.
ISO/TR15801 - Electronic Archiving - Electronic Document Management - currently under ballot.
Future Focus of WG9 - Document Lifecycle Management via Multiple Parties
Working Group 11 - Document management — Information classification, marking and handling
ISO/AWI 4669-2 - a consultation has commenced, and a meeting set for 13/7/23 to discuss.
